The material that forms LooREADY Toilet Seat Covers is made from a proprietary ecopolymer film created with water soluble, biodegradable non-toxic components including: fatty acids, glycerol, PVOH polymers, plus several other ingredients kept secret by our LooREADY scientists. The ecopolymer film is sandwiched between a super thin layer of organic wood pulp which breaks apart in sanitation systems and our ecoploymers dissolve when flushed.
Our ecopolymer protective material has undergone standardized testing, with results indicating ultimate biodegradability. Our protective material does not break down into microplastics as defined by the state of California. The ecopolymers used in our product is included on the EPA’s CleanGredients database (the definitive database of chemical ingredients whose formulations have been pre-approved by the U.S. EPA to meet the criteria of their Safer Choice Standard.)
